Céline d'Oultremont is a research-led designer working at the intersection of pattern cutting and spatial design.
Trained in fashion and based in London, her practice explores how garments and lighting structures can shape, compress or distort space - often through movement, folds and tension.
With a BA in Fashion Design and years of experience as a senior pattern cutter and studio manager, Céline brings technical precision to experimental formats. During her MA at Central Saint Martins (CSM), she developed a practice that translates fashion methodologies into lightning design - focusing on how objects respond to shifting lifestyle patterns and the perception of space, time and environment. Her work engages deeply with industrial and plastic materials, exploring their narrative, aesthetic, and structural potential.
